Okay?

I think I've probably posted this quote/scene from HBO's GIRLS before, but I just love it so much!! I'm going back to South Dakota tomorrow for the week, and I think I need to give myself this same pep talk. It's not true, but sometimes you just have to tell yourself these kind of things.



She doesn't have a real job. She wants to be a writer. She's basically single. She's basically me.

"You are from New York; therefore you are just naturally interesting.Okay? It is not up to you to fill all of the pauses. You are not in danger of mortifying yourself. The worst stuff that you say sounds better than the best stuff that some other people say."
