bird by bird

By: Skyler Saunders heartbreaking how we decided the only one that counts is romantic. there are so many strains aching in this cavity. so many people whose eyes I seek in a crowd, whose laughs make bubbles in my lungs. there's so much more than kissing. don't you see how this all love? don't you know there's too many of you to name?

 I rarely come here with original writing anymore. It's usually a poem I stumbled across or a quote that I overhear that causes me to log in to this 'ol thing and copy/paste. Like when a child collects rocks and saves them in a special place to protect and save them, that's what this blog is to me now. It's a place for my treasures.  This is my sister's wedding video which is filled with so many treasures. Beautiful speeches (humble brag) and great music, and one very special song and dance. I'm putting it here so I can find it easily when I want to remember a day when my dad wasn't there, but it really felt like he was.  (3:56)
