How

My homegirl Regina Spektor came out with a new album, and... of course it's amazing. It's not as pop-y or as weird as some of her other stuff; actually I think it's borderline melancholic. I still love it. In fact, I love it because of its melancholy.

I particularly love this song. I had the exact same reaction to hearing it for the first time as I did to Joni Mitchell's, "Both Sides Now." It's a clutch-your-heart-and-smile-into-the-sun-while-suppressing-deep-seated-tears kind of feeling. You know? Haha well just listen and see what I mean.
