Nerd Alert! Nerd Alert!

I have spent my whole life feeling like I was too nerdy, and now that I'm in grad school I feel like I'm not nerdy enough! I don't watch Star Trek. I don't have more books than facebook friends. I don't wear black rimmed glasses. I don't go to Shakespeare readings on Thursday nights. I don't write in to editors when I catch typos in books. I don't get excited when the library subscribes to a new scholarly journal. I don't make jokes about critical theory.

Well, sometimes I do that last thing.
