18th Century meets Pop Culture

Remember that paper I'm working on for my "Rise of the 18th Century Novel" Seminar? Well, I'm looking at two texts: Henry Fielding's Tom Jones and Samuel Richardson's Clarissa.

The problem is, whenever I'm reading Tom Jones, I think about this:

I am never going to finish this paper..
